Steps to generate offline Ekyc
Visit the UIDAI website
Go to UIDAI's official website.
Navigate to 'Offline eKYC' Section
Click on "My Aadhaar" → "Aadhaar Paperless Offline eKYC".
Enter Aadhaar Number or VID
Provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit Virtual ID (VID).
Create a Share Code (Password)
Set a 4-digit Share Code (this acts as a password for the downloaded file).
This ensures privacy and security when sharing with service providers.
Enter OTP for Authentication
An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP to proceed.
Download the Aadhaar XML File
Once verified, you can download the digitally signed Aadhaar XML file.
The file contains necessary details like Name, DOB, Address, and the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar.

How Face Matching Works in Aadhaar eKYC?
1. Aadhaar eKYC Initiation
The user requests eKYC verification with a service provider (bank, telecom, financial institution, etc.).
The provider submits the eKYC request to UIDAI.
2. Face Matching Process
The user’s live photo is captured using a camera (mobile, webcam, or kiosk).
UIDAI’s face matching algorithm compares the live image with the Aadhaar photo stored in its database.
If the match is successful, the authentication is approved.
3. KYC Completion
